This is a Special Limited Edition for the first time Seiko collaborated with "ZOIDS" to celebrate its 40th Anniversary. The design theme of this collaboration watch is based on the Blade Liger, a Lion-type Zoid, a race of mechanical lifeforms from the fictional Zoids universe. 

The Blade Liger badge symbol is shown on as the 12 o'clock position index marker. The joint-locking screw-like motif design were on the subdial near the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock position, along with other details like the gold colors on the dial, hands and buttons are also a reminiscent of the ZOID machine.

The watch is presented in a special commemorative box with a limited serial number engraved at the case back of the watch. They are limited to 300 pieces and are only available for ordering in Japan until the Christmas day in December 2023!!
